Mention rate
The share of sampled answers that named the business. More appearances across the prompt battery earn more credit.
Methodology / transparent by design
A score is a sample-based indicator, not a promise of future recommendations. We show frequencies because answer engines can vary from one response to another.

We compare sampled claims about basics like hours, address, and services with the facts you provide or verify.
What a result means
Sampling and language. A real scan runs 12 buyer-intent prompts, repeated three times per available engine. The report therefore says “Named in X of N answers,” never that an AI always says something.
Unavailable engines. If an engine lacks credentials or returns an error, it is marked unavailable and excluded from its own frequency denominator. SignalRank never fabricates provider output.
24-hour cache. City/category answer sets may be cached for up to 24 hours so repeat scans can reuse the expensive shared sample while business-specific scoring stays distinct.
